How do we Judge Fate, process
Just a quick insight in to how I go about producing an illustration. The illustration documented here goes with the article Morality: what’s luck got to do with it by Nigel Warburton from New Philosopher October 2016. This was a student project for SCAD Graduate Illustration.
After reading the article several times and coming up with written ideas, I like to come up with at least 20 thumbnail ideas.
At this point, I take three of the thumbs and develop them as value comprehensives.
At this point I select one image to take through to the final illustration. After fully resolving the drawing in pencil, I then ink up the final work, at about 1.5 - 3 times the final size.
Then starts the long process of colouring in photoshop. The final work below.
Illustrator and artist. This is where I document my process.
